FREE 15-MINUTE INTRODUCTORY CHAT

A welcoming, safe &
judgment-free space to help
you navigate life’s challenges.

ONLINE & IN-PERSON COUNSELLING & THERAPY FOR INDIVIDUALS
IN CITY OF LONDON EC4A & WALTHAMSTOW, LONDON E17.

Hello, I’m Marj.

Life can be challenging, confusing, and overwhelming, for us all.

I offer a friendly, confidential space in which you can explore your thoughts and feelings with trust, and I’m committed to helping you find your way through difficult circumstances, discovering tools and strategies to support your growth, resilience, and well-being.

My own journey into psychotherapy is rooted in personal challenges that have included lone and step-parenting, neurodiversity, bereavement, and living in a family affected by substance misuse. These lived experiences, coupled with my professional training, and time spent working within the NHS and addiction services, allow me to bring a deep empathy and understanding to my counselling practice.

Taking your next steps towards therapy…

WHAT TO EXPECT

I offer a free 15-minute introductory call, so that we can have an informal chat and you can ask any questions you may have.

During this call we can also discuss practical aspects such as session frequency and fees.

If you feel you’d like to explore the potential for working together, we’ll arrange an initial 50-minute consultation.

This first session is charged at my normal rate, and is an opportunity for us to see if we think we’re a good fit. Together we can explore in more detail what it is that has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from us working together.

There is no obligation to commit
at this stage.

If we do decide to move forward together, we’ll schedule a regular session at a mutually agreed time. Typically, this is usually weekly, on the same day and time each week.

When I started...SASHA

When I started therapy with Marj, I was struggling with social anxiety that I had never felt able to talk about. She created a safe, supportive space where I could explore my feelings and understand their roots. Although the process was difficult at times, I enjoyed going to therapy, and often left sessions feeling lighter. With Marj’s guidance, I was able to challenge myself and my anxiety, putting myself in situations that made me feel uncomfortable. Subsequently, a year later I feel almost unrecognisable from the person I was when I began. I am incredibly grateful for Marj’s kindness, encouragement and belief in me.

Through my sessions...HANNAH

Through my sessions with Marj, I have been able to rewrite difficult relationships and understand my anxiety in a way I never thought I could. Marj creates a calm, safe and non-judgmental space where you can talk freely, whilst helping you recognise patterns and behaviours that might be holding you back. She was able to recommend breathing techniques to reduce my day-to-day anxiety and suggested podcasts that helped me between our sessions. I highly recommend Marj to anyone who has struggled to engage with therapy before. Thanks again Marj for all of your invaluable support.
